Xiaomi Smart Band 9 arrives in Europe on August 16, price revealed

Xiaomi's latest smart band officially arrived in China last month, and now it's almost ready to make the jump to Europe. According to Xiaomi's online store for the Netherlands, the Smart Band 9 will go on sale for the first time on August 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

Its price is €39.99. The Smart Band 9 also comes in an NFC-compatible version, which will probably be a bit more expensive. The Smart Band 9 is available in four colors: pink, black, white, and blue.

It has a quick-change strap mechanism, and there's even a ceramic version (the regular version is metal), but it's unclear whether that one will make the trip to Europe or not.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 features 21 days of battery life (9 days with Always On Display), a linear vibration motor with 20 vibration modes, and a heart rate sensor with 16% improved accuracy compared to the Smart Band 8.

The display is a 1.62″ OLED with a resolution of 490×192 and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, which should greatly improve visibility in sunlight over its predecessor. It comes with over 150 fitness modes and has a 233mAh battery that takes an hour to fully charge. The Smart Band 9 features Bluetooth 5.4 and 50m water resistance.

As you can see in the image above, if you buy one in the Netherlands during the first sale, you can get a pair of Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earphones for only €1.99 (which means you'll save €11 compared to buying both items separately).
