Vivo's X200 series is set to launch in early October, and fans can look forward to three different models: the standard X200, the X200 Pro, and the X200 Pro+. The base X200 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch display, and well-known leakster Digital Chat Station recently revealed a render that gives a sneak peek at the display design.

The X200 will be equipped with a flat 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display. It has an FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Its design is sleek, with symmetrical bezels on all sides and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The display will also include an optical fingerprint scanner for added security.

Under the hood, the entire X200 series will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which promises powerful performance from all angles. As for the camera setup, the X200 is said to feature a triple camera array. It has a custom Sony sensor with a 50MP primary camera. This is complemented by a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide lens. We don’t know yet, but we wouldn’t rule out a variant with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 being launched next year.

The upcoming device will feature a larger battery compared to its predecessor. Rumors suggest a capacity in the range of 5,500 to 5,600mAh. However, this increase in battery size will come with a trade-off. Charging speed will be 90W, a step down from the 120W charging found on the X100. Despite this, 90W charging is still fast enough for most users. Perhaps, we will see 120W charging on the higher-end models.

The Vivo X200 series will be launching the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 in October. The new CPU will retain its architecture with only performance cores. We will also have the opportunity to check out the performance of ARM’s latest Cortex-925 cores as Qualcomm has moved to its own core design with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

With just a few weeks left for the launch of the Vivo X200 series, we expect the leaks to intensify, so stay tuned.
