Video: Ford Mustang Burns Out And Its Other Thing, It Crashes Into An Innocent Corvette

What seemed like a classic Cars & Coffee meetup turned into a traditional Ford Mustang event when a black S550 attempted to show off, but quickly lost control and plowed into a nearby Corvette.

The Ford Mustang has been around for 60 years, hence the limited-edition 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary, available in exclusive Brittany Blue or vintage Wimbledon White. Custom-designed for the 2025 Mustang GT Premium Fastback coupe and convertible, it features 20-inch x 9-inch Dark Gravity Gray painted alloy wheels with Bright accents, Vermillion Red Retro Themed center caps, iconic rear badges and fender flares, Iconic Silver Metallic or Vermillion Red side stripes and a special modular grille.

This package adds $3,995 to the price of the car, plus $995 for the color, and a 2025 Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback can be yours for $57,260, complete with a $1,595 destination charge and a $695 acquisition fee. But please, don’t drive it to a Cars and Coffee event and give in to the crowd pressure when someone tells you to “light it up.” You could end up setting your bank account ablaze with repair costs and insurance claims, just like this S550 owner did.

According to reports surrounding the incident, the driver of the black Ford Mustang was encouraged by an onlooker (you can clearly hear the trigger in the video embedded below) as he was leaving a recent Cars and Coffee event in Illinois. Obviously, this driver had never taken a driving lesson in his life and didn’t even have access to the internet, otherwise he would have known that Cars & Coffee doesn’t mix well with pony and muscle car owners looking to impress the crowd.

Anyway, the fact is already done, and it is a classic case of a Ford Mustang trying to do a burnout and crashing into something innocent. This time, it was the local Goodyear Tire & Auto shop, which is ironic, because it will surely need a lot of work later. Interestingly, the driver of the Ford Mustang S550 did not realize that there were other cars on the road, a Mercedes-Benz had to cross the double line to get away from him, when he started the burnout.

The attempt is successful, but the driver of the S550 is probably too infatuated with his achievement or doesn't know what to do next because the car quickly swerves out of control to the right, makes a 180-degree turn onto the curb and slightly grazes the front of an innocent gray Chevrolet Corvette C6 parked inside the Goodyear store premises. Now he'll have to pay the price for “lighting” it up. Didn't anyone tell him that it's dangerous to listen to complete strangers?
