With a diagonal of 6.8 inches, the Pixel 9 Pro is the larger of the two Pro models. It features a 120Hz Super Actua display, the Tensor G4 chip, 16GB of RAM, a 5,060mAh battery, a triple camera system, an improved front camera, and tons of AI features.
It's a little more expensive, with a starting price of $1,099 for the 128GB model, but pre-order offers like free storage upgrades and gift cards should help soften the price somewhat. Other ways to save include trading in your old phone or getting a new one.
If you don’t want to jump through the usual hoops to save on the Pixel 9 Pro and want to save more than just a few hundred dollars, you should take a look at your Verizon account as a rare offer may be waiting for you.
Some happy customers have found that Verizon is offering to connect them to the Pixel 9 Pro XL for free. The deal is apparently for those with unlimited plans and you don't need a new line or to trade in your old device for a $1,199 credit. Of course, you'll have to be in the Device Payment Program for 36 months to get all the credits, but that's to be expected.
Verizon hasn't officially announced this offer and it's only available to a select few. It's not clear what qualifies you for the offer, but it's apparently not completely random and looks like some sort of targeted loyalty offer.
Regardless of whether you are Verizonyou should go to your account and check if you are eligible, as the Pixel 9 Pro sounds like one of the best phones to come out this year, and you'll probably like it better than your current phone.
