Threads adds new features and improvements to its app almost every week, but this time Meta has announced a much more extensive update that introduces a wide range of new features specifically aimed at developers and businesses.
The main improvements in the update affect the web version of Threads. These improvements include insights, multiple drafts, and scheduling features that make it easier to plan content and reach new audiences.
The new Insights feature is designed to help Threads users better understand their followers and measure post performance across a range of content metrics, including the number of views, replies, reposts, and quotes on posts.
In addition, the Insights feature allows you to see the evolution of the number of followers over time and the demographic composition of the followers, including age, gender and location. These metrics are of course very useful for developers and companies.

In addition to Insights, Meta announced that it is adding the ability to write and save multiple drafts for Threads posts before sharing them with followers. Starting today, it is possible to save up to 100 drafts and publish them when you are ready. And last but not least, the new scheduling feature added to Threads will help creators and businesses plan their content. The new tool allows users to create Threads posts and schedule them to be published at a later date. It is also possible to schedule multiple posts per day several days in advance.
According to Meta, these new features are rolling out to the web version of Threads now, but the social network company says it will also try out mobile versions later, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that they make their way to the mobile version sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for more on that.
