When sketching out a new superyacht concept, designers can allow themselves to unleash their imagination and take a step forward, because concepts are about dreaming big and imagining the future. And with a new generation of owners craving beauty, well-being and customization, but also simplicity and authenticity, yacht designers are doing their best to drive innovation while fulfilling owners’ desires with their ideas.

Many concepts today try to capture attention through elegant simplicity, but true elegance comes from good taste and a touch of boldness. Take, for example, “Fú,” a striking superyacht concept recently unveiled by Doga Naz Cebeci of Studio Fancy by Dada.

The Turkish designer has revealed renderings of this new project, which features a 45-meter superyacht that focuses on minimalism and simplicity, while integrating futuristic features and once again underlining that yacht design is about experimenting and taking risks.

With a name that in Chinese means luck and prosperity, the superyacht Fú is expected to provide its owners with the same values. According to the designer, the concept is inspired by the “elements and beauty of nature” and boasts an exterior and interior design with multi-layered details and unprecedented connectivity with the sea. At the same time, the studio says the ship aims to “a clean and minimal look so as not to ruin the beauty and soul of the ocean.”

The exterior features a sleek, white aesthetic, smooth, finely detailed lines and a straight bow. The lack of some of the usual structural pillars found on superyachts of her size helps blur the lines between interior and exterior spaces, enhancing sea views and guests’ connection to the surrounding ocean.

Several design elements reflect inspiration from Mother Nature, including the expansive beach club, which features coral motifs and warm, neutral tones, and the midship structural support with cut-wood panel inserts.

In terms of comfort, the superyacht is designed with a large swimming pool on the extended bow, numerous relaxation and entertainment areas, as well as alfresco dining with uninterrupted views. The aft area is distinguished by a futuristic floating staircase above a large heated swimming pool with what appears to be a mosaic floor and an integrated underwater seating area. The beach club has folding rails that extend out over the water to create terraces over the sea. A custom-made outdoor shower is also integrated into the structure of the yacht to allow guests to enjoy the surrounding views even when rinsing off.

The aft bridge features three large interactive lounges, accompanied by a bar adjacent to the lounge, which encourages socializing.

The interiors of this superyacht concept, on the other hand, may spark a debate about the new definition of luxury, aesthetic harmony, and the importance of functionality in design. Designed with minimalism in mind, the main salon does not have any storage units, which have been moved to the atrium, and instead focuses on creating a serene and welcoming environment with a sunken seating area and mini atriums. Simplicity is also the main pillar when it comes to style. The interior spaces are all characterized by a light color palette that creates a sense of peace and serenity.

In terms of accommodation, Fú is expected to accommodate up to 10 guests on board, along with nine crew members. The yacht is designed with a spacious master suite that features an 11.5 x 8.2-foot (3.5 x 2.5-meter) family bed and a spa-like ensuite bathroom with a spacious open shower and private toilet areas.
