The Mercedes Sprinter is an excellent choice for those seeking a premium mobile lifestyle. Its design, engineering and brand reputation help the Sprinter stand out in the luxury van conversion market and people will often find that there is no better choice.
One of the main reasons the Sprinter is so popular for luxury conversions is its design flexibility. These vans offer a variety of configurations, including multiple wheelbase options, roof heights, and chassis lengths. This means you can install just about anything inside, from full-size beds, kitchenettes, bathrooms, entertainment systems, and more.
Sure, you could make a luxury product out of any van, but few offer the same prestige, let alone the smooth, powerful driving experience you get with the Sprinter.
What we have here is a 2025 Sprinter, converted by London luxury specialist Clive Sutton into a first-class cabin on wheels, hence the nickname “First Class” for the conversion. It seats seven in its leather-covered seats and features plenty of high-tech goodies you'd find on a luxury airliner.
The so-called First Class Sprinter features a pair of 43-inch 4K screens, a cinema surround sound system, and mood lighting, all controlled via a custom Creston interface. Other luxury features include two beverage refrigerators (35L and 21L), Wi-Fi, wood veneer, a massive panoramic glass roof, plus seven fully electric, reclining and sliding lounge seats with footrests, which are also heated, cooled, and offer massage and lumbar support.
You get no less than 15,000 litres of space inside, and there’s an electronically controlled partition separating the rear compartment from the front cabin. The rear space is where you’ll find the aforementioned cinema-style surround system, linked to the two 43-inch TVs. There’s a PlayStation 5 on board for good measure.

“For many years, our customers have demanded a level of luxury and practicality that exceeds that available in the standard luxury vehicle market. Our 2025 First Class Sprinter joins our premium range of Mercedes-Benz VP Class, VIP London Taxi and Lexus LM VIP conversions, which distinguish Clive Sutton as a leader in luxury transportation for customers in the UK and around the world,” said the company's founder and CEO, Clive Sutton.
What makes the First Class Sprinter special is that its luxury features are not limited to the rear compartment: the driver and front passenger can also enjoy full leather seats, full carpeting, wood paneling and a Milano suede headliner.
As for how much it costs, well, quite a bit. It starts at £230,000 + VAT, which means you’ll be paying a minimum of $365,000, including tax. On the plus side, you get far more space and comfort than any Rolls-Royce, Maybach or Range Rover, so the price is somewhat justified.
