We've learned a lot about the design of the Apple Watch Series 10 (or X) in the last few days. There has been speculation about the device's alleged new case sizes of 46mm and 49mm. The latter is the same size as the popular premium Apple Watch Ultra, meaning we may see a lot of demand for the 49mm watch Apple Watch Series 10 model. There was also speculation about a really thin bezel for the Apple Watch Series 10.
Recently, “X” leaker Majin Bu shared an image of a screenshot showing the page that Apple Watch users see when they pair their watch with an iPhone running iOS 18.1. Mr. Bu (for lack of a better name) pointed out that the image of the Apple Watch seen in the screenshot shows a device with extremely thin bezels and a larger screen. Majin Bu, who takes his “X” name from the Dragon Ball Z villain of the same name (but spelled differently), wrote that he was told that the image of the Apple Watch in the screenshot was a leak of the Apple Watch Series 10 Design.
But 9to5Mac has discovered that what Majin Bu claims to be the design of the upcoming Apple Watch watches is actually an image of an Apple Watch Series 9 model that was poorly rendered due to a bug. So the bottom line is that the image shared by Majin Bu is not an image that shows the look of the Apple Watch Series 10 rather, it is an image that was created due to a software error.

Due to a bug, this image of the Apple Watch Series 9 looked like a new model with a larger screen and thinner bezels. | Image credit: Majin Bu
The Apple “Glowtime” event will take place on Monday, September 9th, and will begin at 10am PT/1pm ET. The tech giant is expected to Apple Watch Series 10 (45 mm and 49 mm), the Apple Watch SE 3 (with plastic case) and the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
Other devices that we can safely say Apple will unveil on Monday are the iPhone 16, iPhone16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The three Apple Watch models mentioned above would also fall into the likely category, followed by the fourth-generation AirPods. There will be two variants, a cheaper model with basic specs and a premium variant with automatic noise cancellation. I would put this one notch below the iPhone16 line and the three Apple Watch models.
Lastly, there are a pair of iPad tablets that would fall under the “Snowball's Chance in Hell” category. One of these would be the seventh-generation iPad mini, which has an A17 Pro chip running the show so it can support Apple Intelligence, and the eleventh-generation iPad 11.
Check back this weekend for any last-second leaks (those leaks are usually the best), and keep checking PhoneArena on Monday for the latest news and analysis from Apple's “Glowtime” event.
