Not long ago, we asked if Cadillac fans would like to see a reborn 2025 or 2026 CT6 sedan, pulled out of American retirement for a digital stint in the “land yacht” sector. If the answer is yes again, this time we also have a two-door version of that design project.

Thanks to its recent stellar results both at home in America and in the all-important China region, Cadillac is experiencing a subtle resurgence of interest among GM enthusiasts and the general public. Last year, the CT5 sedan even produced a surprise: It outsold every other model, including crossover SUVs and the legendary Escalade.

Now, Caddy is counting on a bunch of new models: the refreshed CT5 plus its CT5-V model and the mighty Blackwing, the first-ever 2025 Optiq plus the upcoming 2026 three-row Vistiq CUV and the 2025 Escalade IQ. In addition, the company has also revamped the ICE2025 Escalade with diesel engine and its variant Escalade-V.

Sure, there’s something for everyone, from compact sedans like the CT4 to massive SUVs like the Escalade and Escalade IQ, and from entry-level all-electric CUVs to the flagship Celestiq. Wait, wait, wait: The parallel universes of vehicular CGI and the fictional realm of digital car content creators don’t think all segments are covered: Cadillac is missing a large executive sedan that harks back to the “land yacht” era and a two-door personal luxury car. Fear not, Vince Burlapp (aka appburlap on social media or at burlappcar.com) is a prolific virtual artist who loves to dream up all the latest models in the vast automotive world and has a great passion for Cadillac-related design projects.

The pixel maestro seems to think Cadillac could easily revive the CT6 large sedan for the U.S. market, just as it allowed it to endure in China with a fresh second-generation introduction last year. For America, though, the CGI expert would make it part of the upcoming Ultium+ sedan plans and offer it with an all-electric powertrain. But that’s not all.

Instead, the author also came up with another unofficial and completely hypothetical Cadillac, a new Cadillac large coupe that would serve as an accompanying illustration for the recent CT6 rebirth for America. He knows that General Motors is planning two new all-electric sedans based on the updated Ultium+ architecture, “so why not dream up a new Cadillac large coupe based on the same platform alongside the next largest sedan.” He also has alternative nameplates if you don’t like the CT6 Coupe moniker: it could be dubbed the CT7 or even the Eldorado! So, what do you think?
