The American luxury carmaker is currently hitting all the right notes, including the unexpected, with models such as the Opulent Velocity and Sollei concepts, the CT5-V Blackwing Track Pack, or the completely revamped 2025 Escalade and the all-new Escalade IQ.

For example, the recently released Cadillac Opulent Velocity concept will try to teach the driver how to get better at driving: it has the immense computational ability needed to teach drivers the best line to take on the track as they hurtle around the circuit. The refreshed 2025 Caddy CT5-V Blackwing not only comes with a suite of upgrades, but it also boasts a new Track Pack with real hardware changes: all sorts of new chassis improvements.

All we can say about the gorgeous Cadillac Sollei is that it should be built as a convertible version of the flagship Celestiq. At the same time, the 2025 Escalade not only gets a new face, but also boasts more features and an incredible widescreen cockpit treatment. Plus, the mighty Escalade-V will be around for at least another model year. Plus, there were special CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models celebrating Cadillac's LeMans racing heritage, and one of GM's corner office bosses announced that while SUVs are a “necessary evil,” sedans are here to stay. Especially at Cadillac, we might add.

But wait, what if that wasn't enough? Well, the parallel universe of vehicular CGI has a solution, and it has quickly instructed the imaginative realm of automotive digital content creators to put it into practice virtually. More specifically, Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind Digimod DESIGN on YouTube, has taken on the task of CGI-revealing a revised Caddy Eldorado sedan, to be added to the CT4 and CT5 sedan range.

As far as we know, the pixel maestro started with an interesting base, the Volkswagen Arteon R-Line, but transformed this reborn Caddy Eldorado from a four-door coupe body into a classic liftback sedan infused with the premium brand's design language, both front and rear. In fact, the only way to spot the donor vehicle was to look on the side where the distinctive “R” logo had been forgotten by the CGI expert during post-processing.

In any case, these CGI considerations aside, a return of the Cadillac Eldorado nameplate would necessarily place it above the current CT4 and CT5 series for 2025, but a step below the $340,000 Celestiq all-electric flagship. So, given the quad exhaust tips at the rear, we could easily imagine this sleek sedan packing the mighty Cadillac Blackwing V8, albeit detuned from the V-series Blackwing versions to emphasize elegance and opulence rather than performance and grit. What do you think?
