The focus of these smartphones was on the Chinese market, but global variants were revealed later. A few months have passed, and it appears that iQOO is planning a similar release schedule for this year as well. Recent reports suggest that iQOO is gearing up to launch its Neo 10 series smartphones in China. With the expected release in Q4 approaching, tipster Digital Chat Station has already leaked key details about the upcoming iQOO Neo 10 series.

iQOO Neo 10 and 10 Pro Features Revealed

According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming iQOO Neo series, which is positioned as sub-flagship devices, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9400 chipsets. The next model in the series will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This suggests that the iQOO 13 could launch after the iQOO Neo 10 series later this year. While the leakster has not confirmed the details, the standard Neo 10 will likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Pro version could boast of the Dimensity 9400. The Dimensity 9400 is not available yet, but we could see MediaTek announce it by October. Some recent rumors suggest that it could launch before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

The Weibo post also hints at significant upgrades to the Neo 10 series. Unlike the plastic frame used on the Neo 9 series, the Neo 10 models are expected to feature a metal mid-frame. These devices could also be equipped with silicon batteries that can be fast-charged and will likely exceed 100W. Moreover, their battery capacity will break the 6,000mAh barrier. Additionally, the Neo 10 series is expected to feature a flat display with a resolution of 1.5K. Moreover, the devices will feature ultra-narrow bezels. Finally, we will see improvements in eye protection and superior display quality.

For context, the iQOO Neo 9 series that was introduced last year consisted of two models: the Neo 9 and the Neo 9 Pro. The Neo 9 was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Neo 9 Pro featured the Dimensity 9300. Notably, the Neo 9 Pro was exclusive to the Chinese market. The Neo 9, on the other hand, was rebranded with the same name in India. More recently, iQOO introduced the iQOO Neo 9S series that featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Details regarding the global launch of the Neo 10 series remain unclear for now.
