Samsung will also provide a Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition to all Paris 2024 Paralympians

Samsung will continue its presence at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with its latest partnership with the Olympic committee. The tech company has set aside 5,000 units of the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition to provide one unit to each para-athlete, ahead of the Paralympic Games that begin tomorrow, August 28.

Samsung will also set up experience stores at Olympic venues in Paris to promote its new Galaxy AI-powered phones.

Samsung has supported a roster of Team Galaxy athletes from around the world: French blind footballer and torchbearer Yvan Wouandji, Paralympians Johannes Floors of Germany and Madison de Rozario of Australia, para-swimmer Ugo Didier of France, Hee-jin Kim of Korea, among others.

The company highlighted its accessibility features in Galaxy smartphones, including the Z Flip6, such as Relumino outline, which helps visually impaired users improve screen contrast and brightness, sharpen image outlines, and increase visibility.

Fans will be able to take part in pop-up experiences, where they can learn about blind football, disabled athletics, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis. They will also be able to win a Galaxy Z Flip6 or a round-trip ticket for two to attend the next games, which will take place at Milano Cortina 2026.
