Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 receives another One UI 6 Watch Beta update

Samsung has been testing One UI 6 Watch on the Galaxy Watch 6 for some time now. The smartwatch is now receiving its fifth beta software update, which will likely be one of the last before the final build is released.

Most of the changes included in the update are based on the feedback Samsung received from users who tested the previous beta versions. Those who have installed the One UI 6 Watch beta software on their smartwatches should receive the latest FOTA (Firmware Over the Air) update.

In addition to announcing that the rollout has begun, Samsung has also revealed all the major changes that the update includes, so here's what you can expect if you've decided to test this software:

  • Improved system stability and optimized system performance
  • Improved battery consumption current problem
  • Improved application execution performance
  • The network interoperability issue has been improved
  • Support Global AOD
  • Further improvements

To trigger the update, please go to Settings / View software update / Download and install. Samsung also advises its users to back up important data before updating. The same news states that Samsung is expected to roll out the same update to the Galaxy Watch 4/5 today and/or tomorrow as well, so if you own either smartwatch, you won't have to wait too long for the update.

The main improvements that Samsung adds with the One UI 6 Watch are new features such as improved sleep accuracy, energy score, a new font, double-pinch gestures, the Samsung Find app, a better weather app, and personalized health tips based on Galaxy AI.

Of course, the changes are not limited to those mentioned above, but represent the highlights of the One UI 6 Watch, which is due to be released in the next few weeks.
