The 3C certification confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ (SM-X820) and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (SM-X926C) will offer 45W fast charging out of the box. That means no changes from last year’s models. The Galaxy Tab S9 models also came with 45W fast charging. Up until now, that was the maximum offered for all mobile Galaxy devices.

Gizchina News of the Week

According to the certification, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Ultra will be sold without chargers. It shouldn’t come as a surprise at this point, since the included chargers are gradually being phased out. So you’ll need your own USB-PD charger, and the tablets will need 10V and 4.5A. Unfortunately, the 3C doesn’t offer any details about battery capacity. The Tab S9+ has a 10,090 mAh battery, while the S9 Ultra has an 11,200 mAh unit. We don’t expect major upgrades in capacity. However, the new S10 series should at least maintain the capacity of its predecessors.

Samsung hasn’t given any details about a possible launch date for the new tablets. However, they’re expected in late October. So we still have a month to wait until these are revealed. Leaks will definitely continue to come out. The tablets are expected to be significant upgrades over their predecessors with improvements in hardware. Recently leaked renders have revealed the design of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and it looks very similar to the Tab S9 Ultra.

We expect more details to emerge soon.
