Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite gets One UI 6.1 based on Android 14

This might actually be the end of the road for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite as the device has received its third, and likely final, operating system update. However, it’s important to note that the device received One UI 6.0 earlier this year. The tablet launched with Android 11 in mid-2021, and it just received a One UI 6.1 update based on Android 14 in South Korea.

The firmware version is T225NKOU8EXH2 and includes the July 2024 security patch and, of course, most of the new features intrinsic to Android 14 and One UI 6.1.

While most of the devices that were due for an update have already received the latest One UI 6.1 and some are even waiting for 6.1.1, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a bit late. But it's a low-priority budget tablet and we're surprised it got its third major software update in the first place.

Since the update is currently rolling out in South Korea, you may have to wait for it to arrive in your region, but it shouldn't be too long.
