Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could be called S26 Note, S26+ could be called S26 Pro

Internet users don't seem to like Google's new smartphone naming system, even if it makes sense: there's a classic Pixel 9 that's the least well-equipped, two Pro panels in two sizes, and a Pro To fold because with this price, not to put the nickname “Pro” on it would be insane.

Regardless, those same people probably won't like the direction Samsung is reportedly considering going in the future. According to a tipster on X, the Galaxy S26 Ultra might not be called that. Samsung could instead opt for the Galaxy S26 Note, to highlight its built-in S Pen stylus.

But that's not all! The Galaxy S26+ could be called the Galaxy S26 Pro, as Samsung has finally spotted the trend of Pro models everywhere, and this word is currently missing from its mobile phone lineup.

Don't take this for granted, as it is still very early, and even the source of the rumor only implies that the Korean company is thought about the rebranding, even if it's not something set in stone yet.

All that aside, what do you think sounds better? S26 Ultra or S26 Note? S26+ or S26 Pro? Let us know in the comments.
