According to new details, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be launched very soon. Recent rumors point to a launch in late September or early October. Ahead of this launch, the US version of the smartphone has received certification from the FCC.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Passes FCC Certification
The renders confirm that the device has dual-band Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi 6E support, NFC, Bluetooth, 5G Support, and up to 9W reverse wireless charging. The Samsung Galaxy S24 measures 162 x 77.3mm (height and width), and unfortunately, the overall thickness is a mystery.
The FCC Listing brings incremental details about the smartphone and doesn’t go deeper into the specifications. However, it is a good hint about the imminent launch of this device. According to a previous Geekbench study, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC in a downclocked version for unknown reasons. This is an odd choice for Samsung. While the Exynos 2400 does a good job against the competition, it is still not the most preferred chipset in the market. Hence, it is strange to see Samsung making it less attractive in a downclocked version. Perhaps it wants to make the Galaxy S24 FE more power-efficient than the regular variants. Or at worst, it is alleged to make the device less powerful than its siblings.
