This is the Samsung Galaxy A06 and it has everything you need from a phone.
It has a big screen, a high-speed main camera, a big battery, a touch of style, and good software support. All for under $200. It does come in a minimalist box with a USB cable, though, so add the price of a charger if you don't have one on hand.
On the front is a large 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a base resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Inside, you get a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
The battery capacity is 5,000mAh, while the usual 25W Samsung charging doesn't seem too bad at this price range. Finally, there's a 50MP f/1.8 main camera that will hopefully produce nice photos and 1080p USB videos.
In a feat almost unheard of in this segment, the Galaxy A06 comes with up to 4 years of security updates and up to 2 operating system updates.
The Galaxy A06 is a big phone
The Galaxy A06 features an interesting striped design on the rear panel and its side-mounted volume and power buttons sit on a sort of raised island with a slightly rounded design as opposed to the rest of the frame, which is flat.
The stripes on the back reflect light in different colors, accentuating the yellow colorway.
We'll be doing a proper review of the Galaxy A06 soon, so stay tuned!
