Redmi Turbo 4: First Details Leaked; Coming Only in 2025

The Redmi Turbo 3 was introduced a few months ago and it looks like Xiaomi is moving on to the next generation. Work on the Redmi Turbo has already begun and it will also serve as the base model for the POCO F7. We have to wait at least 8-9 months before its launch but the Redmi Turbo 4 has already been spotted on the IMEI database.

According to the IMEI database, the Redmi Turbo 4 will have the model number “2412DRToAC”. The last letter of the model number, “C”, clearly represents the Chinese market. Xiaomi smartphones for India usually have an “I”, while the Global models have a “G” at the end. The Redmi Turbo 4 will eventually reach global markets, but it will most likely be launched as the POCO F7. POCO’s next flagship series is expected to launch in May 2025.

Redmi Turbo 4 / POCO F7 Coming in 2025

The POCO F7 has two different model numbers: “241DPCoAG” and “2412DPCoAI.” These alphanumeric designations reveal subtle changes made from the original device. The suffixes — “I” and “G” — denote the Indian and Global variants, respectively. For now, details about these devices remain unclear as their expected launch is still a few months away. Given that their launch is scheduled for next year, they are likely to be powered by the next-gen 2025 processors. Potentially, this could include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or the successor to the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 that currently powers devices like the Redmi Turbo 3 and the POCO F6.
