Oppo is gearing up to launch three Find X8 phones, leaker Digital Chatstation reveals: the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra. That's because there will be both a Pro and an Ultra variant, which will be a first for the X series.
The source shared on Weibo some details about the new phones, including the display specifications and the chipsets that the Find X8 series will run on.
The Find X8 phones will once again use two chipsets between them – Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. We can assume that the vanilla will get the Mediatek chip and the Ultra will get the Qualcomm platform, leaving the question of which direction the Pro will go.
Speaking of displays, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will have 1260p panels – flat on the standard model and curved on the sides for the Pro. The Find X8 Ultra will feature a QHD panel display. All displays will be BOE’s 8T LTPO OLEDs with “significantly improved” brightness.

Oppo traditionally launches its Find X flagships in the first quarter of the year, which means we should expect Find X8 phones between January and March 2025. However, there are rumors that Mediatek and Snapdragon could bring the launch forward to this year as a result.
