As far as we know right now, the Find X8 pair is expected to launch in China sometime in October. We already have a pretty good idea of what kind of specs we can expect and we've even seen the regular Find X8 in the wild already. Now we have some new real-world photos of the Oppo Find X8 in the wild, unfortunately encased in a rather thick case.

Still, we can see enough details of the phone's design to confirm previous design leaks, like the extra-large camera island on the back. We can also see that the case appears to have full cutouts for all the mics and sensors on the top of the device. This seems relevant since it's unlikely that the maker of said case simply forgot to include a cutout for the alleged Capture button that's supposed to sit low on the right side of the phone. The button is also supposedly capacitive and not a real button, so it's not like you can press it through the thick case. Could this mean that the Oppo Find X8 doesn't have an extra button after all?
According to the latest rumors, the Find X8 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, just like its Pro sibling. The display is said to be a 6.7-inch “1.5K” 120Hz flat panel. The handset will reportedly have a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 3x periscope zoom camera. A 5,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging will keep the lights on.
