We've already heard that the OnePlus Ace 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an upgrade from the Ace 3 that came with the 8 Gen 2. If you're wondering where the Ace 4 went, it never existed because of tetraphobia.
Today, Digital Chat Station confirms the choice of the 8 Gen 3 for the standard model and reveals that the Ace 5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Both models will feature at least 6,000mAh batteries, flat metal frames, optical fingerprint sensors, and a premium 8T LTPO â1.5Kâ OLED display made by BOE.

They will have a 50MP main rear camera, as well as two additional cameras, but no periscope telephoto lens (that seems exclusive to the flagship numbered series for now).
While the Ace 5 Pro will likely remain confined to the Chinese market for its entire existence, the Ace 5 will most likely be rebranded internationally as the OnePlus 13R and launched alongside the OnePlus 13, since the Ace 3 was sold outside of China as the 12R.
