The iPhone 16 Pro Max leaked earlier this month in a strange brownish color, confusing everyone. It had a bronze hue and while it had its fans, it wasn't exactly universally loved.
However, according to a tipster who posted images of the lenses with their colors, the color will actually be closer to gold. The new option won't quite be the copper hue suggested by the original images, but rather that of the sand of the Sahara desert.
The Apple iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max will be available in Titanium White, Titanium Black, Titanium Gold and Titanium Silver
All colors will be named Titanium – white, black, gray, or gold – which means the Natural and Blue options are removed from the list. We're still waiting to see what happened with the Rose option, which may or may not be replaced by this new Gold variant.
The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are expected to have more muted colors, unlike the iPhone 16 series, where brighter choices will be available – blue, green, and pink.

We can also see the vertically aligned dual camera, something we haven't seen since 2020's iPhone 12. Additionally, the square camera island is gone, which will be a first since the iPhone X and iPhone XS series from over half a decade ago.
