Motorola's mid-range Moto G Power 5G (2024) with large battery is available at the lowest price ever

During the Prime Day festivities last month, the already reasonable list price of $299.99 was slashed by a whopping $50 for the first time, and surprisingly, that discount remained even after Amazon's big summer sales event concluded.

Even more impressive, the 6.7-inch mid-range device with a large battery is now available at Best Buy for a new record low price, after an increased $60 discount, with no strings attached and no special requirements.

This isn't exactly an earth-shattering deal, coming in at barely $10 more than previous offers, but if you consider yourself a professional bargain hunter, you probably know that every dollar counts, especially now that we're all heading into a new school year.

At $239.99, we're not sure we'd call the Moto G Power 5G (2024) one of the best back-to-school deals right now, but if you're willing to have Best Buy hook your new phone up to a carrier right away, you can bring the price down to $139.99 without further ado.

This is a device with a 120Hz refresh rate and an almost surprisingly premium-looking vegan leather back, a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging technology, two excellent cameras on the back (at least by mid-range standards), and a respectable MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor.

That 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is pretty much everything you can realistically expect in the sub-$300 price range today (let alone the sub-$250 range), while Motorola's software support…may prove to be its only major weakness in the long run. But is that a deal-breaker? That's up to you to decide, of course.
