We already know that Motorola is gearing up to launch a new phone: the Moto S50, with the model number XT2309-5. The phone has already appeared on China’s TENAA regulatory website. Now we have an official announcement poster for the launch. The Motorola Moto S50 will be unveiled on September 5 at 10:00 AM China time. The poster doesn’t really contain much else in terms of information, except for a trio of color options being shown.

It’s likely that the S50 won’t be coming out of China. This fits in nicely with the fact that, as far as we know, the S50 is identical to the Motorola Edge 50 Neo in terms of hardware. Specs include a 6.4-inch 120Hz OLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certification, stereo speakers, a 4,310mAh battery with 68W charging, a 50MP main camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens.
