Introduction

Motorola today announced the most compact member of the Edge 50 family this year, the Edge 50 Neo. The debut coincided with the global launch of the standard Edge 50, so we had the chance to play with both.

The Edge 50 Neo may be the smallest of the bunch with a 6.36-inch display, but it sits above the Edge 50 Fusion in the hierarchy. In fact, the device offers an impressive feature set not only for its size, but also for the price it comes with.

The Neo features a 120Hz LTPO OLED display with variable refresh rate, a triple camera setup with a dedicated 3x zoom lens, and wired and wireless fast charging. Additionally, it comes with a comfortable 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in its base version.

The Edge 50 is still larger, more expensive, and more powerful than the Neo, though. It offers a more powerful chip, a larger screen with a higher resolution, and a larger battery.
