The latest report from Bloomberg suggests that we'll see an all-new Mac mini with Apple's M4 chip launching later this year, around October. This will also mark the first major redesign of the mini which is expected to have a smaller footprint, similar to that of the Apple TV 4K.
For reference, the Apple TV 4K measures 1.2 x 3.6 inches while the current M2 Mac mini measures 1.4 x 7.7 inches. The new mini will retain its predecessor's aluminum body and is expected to launch in two variants, one powered by the Apple M4 chip and the other by the M4 Pro.
