Lilith is a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 resurrected as a custom wonder

XTR Pepo’s custom creations can hardly be mistaken for someone else’s work, because Pepo Rosell’s unmistakable style is unlike any other. His motorcycles are all about bright colors, bold shapes, and a slightly utilitarian feel that we can’t get enough of. Dubbed Lilith, the one-of-a-kind café racer shown in these photos is a perfect example of this man’s unusual design philosophy.

It all started as a crashed Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 that needed a complete overhaul, and our protagonist spared no expense in resurrecting it. First, the rearmost portion of the subframe was amputated and replaced with a custom-built alternative. Custom piping at the rear supports an LED taillight, aftermarket indicators, and a basic license plate holder built from scratch.

Further along, you’ll notice a custom seat with plenty of padding and black leather upholstery, all exuding vintage charm. Since the Continental GT’s stock fuel tank was damaged beyond repair, Pepo invented a custom fiberglass replacement that’s somewhat reminiscent of the original. A racing-style billet aluminum filler cap is mounted high up.

Making our way north, we come across a stunning front fairing inspired by the endurance racers of yore, held in place with custom mounting hardware. Attached to it is a clear screen and twin headlight setup, the latter being one of XTR’s signature touches. Additionally, the front mudguard is a trimmed-down version of the stock unit, and its associated bracket doubles as a fork brace.

Speaking of which, the forks are still the original Royal Enfield ones, now mated to a custom CNC-machined top clamp. Rear suspension is handled by fully adjustable YSS shock absorbers with piggyback fluid reservoirs and progressive springs. XTR Pepo installed lighter aftermarket rims in the unsprung area, wrapping them in Continental’s ContiRoadAttack 3 tires before the installation.

The front brake will now be operated via a Brembo master cylinder and a stainless steel braided line. In the cockpit area, there are clip-on handlebars equipped with Highsider mirrors and a Domino quick throttle. The clip-ons are complemented by CNC-milled rearsets for an aggressive riding position, courtesy of K-Speed from Thailand. Of course, Pepo didn't let this GT 650 get away without some external modifications to the engine.

Finned lower covers were added for both visual effect and more practical reasons, as the factory parts had suffered serious damage in the past. DNA air filters were placed on the intake side, while a stainless steel exhaust replaces the OEM pipes. Last but not least, the bodywork components were sent to Artenruta for painting, and the result is exactly what you would expect from an XTR build.
