Here's what Liberty Walk does. They bolt some widebody panels onto the car and send it out into the world to brag about its new look. But is there really any reason to brag? The Tesla Model 3 has gotten this peculiar treatment.
The controversial Japanese tuner has a reputation for throwing out flashy widebody kits. You either love it or hate it. It recently threw some magic dust on the Ford GT and Nissan Fairlady Z, the Ferrari F40 and the McLaren 720S.
Now it’s time for the Tesla Model 3 to get the treatment. Gone are the days when the compact sedan had that tame styling that you can’t label as “good” or “bad” because it’s neither. One thing’s for sure. It’s definitely a car that can go unnoticed. But now, Liberty Walks has changed the game for the Model 3.
The electric sedan is a rather strange choice for the tuning house, which has focused only on ICEclassic diesel sports cars so far. But there's a first time for everything, and that's the first time the Model 3 has made its way to the Liberty Walk store.
What came out of there is nothing like the compact electric sedan that came. We can blame the company's founder, Wataru Kato, for the work. His latest creation is the Liberty Walk Tesla Model 3 LB E Works.

The body kit brings an aggressive front spoiler and a ducktail rear wing at the opposite end, accompanied by an air diffuser. There are side diffusers and huge arch extensions that give the Model 3 an intimidating look.
The newly released body kit components are made of fiber-reinforced plastic and are available starting today. You’ll have to pay $7,920 on top of the Model 3 price. However, those who opt for the body kit without the flared fenders and side diffuser will pay $6,270.
If you are not interested in purchasing a kit, but a single component, the front splitter costs $ 1,980, while the rear diffuser can be purchased for $ 1,650. But if you want fenders, you must opt for the complete package. Prices do not include shipping.
The car starts at $33,990 in the US, with estimated incentives and a five-year fuel economy plan included. The Model 3 in the photos posted by Liberty Walk is not a stock thing behind the body kit. It sits lower to the ground than the standard vehicle and rides on aftermarket wheels, which the tuner does not include in the price.
The kit can be fitted to any version, from the basic Rear-Wheel Drive to the high-end Performance All-Wheel Drive. But considering that Liberty Walk also has a passion for sports cars, the Performance variant would be better.
