Lamborghini hasn’t yet unveiled the Temerario Spyder, but that model is a matter of when, rather than if. You see, just like its predecessors, the Huracan and Gallardo, the Italian stable’s newest baby supercar will offer both body styles: Coupé and Spyder.

The former already celebrated its world premiere at Monterey Car Week earlier this month, and the latter is expected to follow in the near future. We don’t know when Raging Bull plans to reveal its bodywork, and we haven’t seen any prototypes in action yet. However, if we had to guess, we’d say the Lamborghini Temerario Spyder is a few months away, with the official reveal likely to take place in 2025 and deliveries to begin in time for next summer.

However, while the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based exotic car brand hasn’t shown off the convertible model, the rendering crowd has already had their way. After all, it was the easiest way to create some digital illustrations of this brand-new product while keeping things on the realistic side. You know, just like X-Tome recently did with his unofficial take on the Lamborghini Temerario Spyder, which hit social media over the weekend and our feed more recently.

The changes are easy to spot, right? After all, it’s the folding roof that separates the real thing from this digital illustration. The real Lamborghini Temerario Spyder will likely have a fabric roof instead of a folding one to save weight, and it should stow away in a special compartment behind the seats at the push of a button. Because of the obvious weight penalty, it should be a bit slower than the fixed-roof variant, although the average Joe probably won’t be able to notice the difference between the two while taking it for a spin on the track.

Lamborghini’s Temerario Coupe goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.7 seconds, which is a two-tenths improvement over the Huracan. Accordingly, the Temerario Spyder will likely do the sprint in 2.8 or maybe 2.9 seconds. Top speed should be about the same, 213 mph or 343 km/h, although obviously not with the roof down. The added weight is expected to impact braking distance slightly, with the Temerario Coupe taking 1,260 inches (32 meters) from 62 mph to zero.

Total power output is 907 hp, which equates to 920 European horsepower (ps) and 677 kilowatts. The Temerario's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 can be revved up to 10,000 rpm and produces 789 hp (800 ps/588 kW). Three electric motors support it, including one mounted between the V8 and the new 8-speed transmission and two in the front. So, do you think the Lamborghini Temerario is better as a Coupé or as a Spyder?
