The iQOO Z9 series now has two new members, the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro. On the surface, both phones share the same core specifications, including 6.67-inch curved AMOLED displays, 50MP main cameras, and 5,500mAh batteries. There are also a few key differences, so let’s take a closer look.
While both phones feature similar 120Hz FHD+ displays, the Z9s Pro's is brighter with a peak local brightness of 4,500 nits compared to 1,800 nits on the Z9s. Both displays feature optical in-display fingerprint readers and 16MP selfie cameras housed in a punch-hole cutout.
The two devices also come with different chipsets. The Z9s Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the iQOO Z9s is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC. Both phones are configurable with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
On the back, the Z9s and Z9s Pro share the same 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor at the helm offering OIS and up to 4K video recording. The main camera also supports AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance. The second sensor on the Z9s Pro is an 8MP ultra-wide lens while the Z9s has a 2MP portrait camera.

Both phones start with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 with two years of Android software updates and three years of security updates. You also get IP64 dust and water resistance and 5,500mAh batteries with 80W wired charging on the Pro and 44W on the standard model.
iQOO Z9s Colors
The iQOO Z9s comes in Titanium Matte and Onyx Green colours. The Z9s Pro comes in Luxe Marble and Flamboyant Orange, the latter featuring a vegan leather back.
iQOO Z9s Pro Colors
The iQOO Z9s is priced at INR 19,999 ($238) and goes up to INR 23,999 ($285) for the 12/256GB variant. The open sales are expected to begin on August 29 at 12:00 PM on Amazon India and the iQOO online store.
