iPhone 16 series prices and specifications leaked in the US

The iPhone 16 Pro will get a tetraprism telephoto periscope lens that offers 5x optical zoom. It will also get a larger 6.3-inch display and, according to “X” leaker Apple Hub, a $100 price hike. Just like Apple did last year when it raised the starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max by $100 but increased the minimum storage option from 128GB to 256GB, the iPhone 16 Pro this year will iPhone 16 Pro will go through the same routine according to the leaker.

The iPhone 16 Prosays Apple Hub, will have a 6.3-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will continue to offer a titanium construction and will be powered by the A18 Pro application processor. The model will support Apple Intelligence, feature the new 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and come with the Tertaprism periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. The phone will support Wi-Fi 7 and its higher speeds and is equipped with a 3355 mAh battery. The iPhone 16 Pro starts at $1,099 with storage options of 256GB/512GB/1TB.

Apple Hub states that the iPhone 16 Pro will also get a screen size of 6.9 inches and will continue to support a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone will have the same specifications as the iPhone 16 Pro with some exceptions. For example, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with a larger 4676mAh battery and keep the same starting price of $1,179 as last year. Storage options will remain 256GB/512GB/1TB.

The iPhone16 features a 6.1-inch display with an old-fashioned 60Hz refresh rate. The base model will have an aluminum build, and under the hood will be the A18 application processor. This chipset will be manufactured by TSMC using its second-generation 3nm process node (N3E), just like the A18 Pro SoC that comes with the premium models. However, the latter will be a more powerful chipset for the more expensive handsets.

Apple has made sure to include 8 GB of RAM in all four iPhone16 series models so that they can all support Apple Intelligence. 8 GB is the minimum amount of memory required to run Apple’s AI initiative. The iPhone16 will feature a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and offer a 2x optical zoom. This model will support Wi-Fi 6E and will come with a 3561mAh battery. The iPhone16 will launch at the same price of $799 as the iPhone 15 and come with the same 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.

The 6.7-inch display of the iPhone16 Plus no longer has the same display size as the one on the iPhone 16 Pro Max thanks to the enlargement of the latter to a 6.9-inch screen. Most of the specifications of the iPhone16 Plus match those on the iPhone16 except for the larger 4006mAh battery. Pricing remains the same as last year's Plus model, $899 and up, with storage options of 128GB/256GB/512GB.
