Instagram now makes it easy to add text to your photos. You can also add an image to an image as a sticker. This also applies to carousels.
The company says that “this gives you the creative flexibility to make your content stand out and explore new, more entertaining stories with photos and carousels.”
After selecting a photo from your gallery, simply tap the text button to add text, or tap the gallery button in the upper-right corner to overlay additional images as stickers. Tap the sticker itself to change its shape: you can choose between a rectangle, square, circle, heart, or star.
Earlier this month, Instagram increased the carousel limit to hold up to 20 photos and videos in a single post. And now, it’s also adding new unique fonts, animations, and effects in a simplified text tool for Reels and Stories. Once you select a font, you can animate the text or add an effect.
