Honor will kick off the global rollout of the Magic V3 on September 5 at IFA 2024 in Berlin. Today, we learned that it will come with three cloud AI features that will be powered by Google Cloud.
The global version of the Honor Magic V3 will bring several AI features to the device, such as Magic Portal on foldable, allowing two different floating apps to run simultaneously, enabling better multitasking.
Google will then add the following features: AI Eraser, Face to Face Translation and Notes Live Translation. These will require online connectivity for processing and language packages, but are expected to improve “daily life and work in a range of scenarios such as business meetings, travel, lifestyle sharing.”
The Honor Magic V3 will be the thinnest foldable smartphone on the market at just 4.4mm thick when unfolded. It's also very powerful with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 12GB of RAM as a base option, and will have Google services out of the box.
