Honor Magic 7 Pro Spotted in Live Footage

The Honor Magic 7 series is expected to be released in January 2025. The latest update from prominent Weibo source @旺仔百事通 has revealed real-life images of the Honor Magic 7 Pro. The leaked images confirm that the Magic 7 series will retain its signature quad-curved display with equal depth, continuing the design trend from its predecessor. This feature is expected to enhance the phone’s sleek aesthetics and offer users a more immersive visual experience.

Honor Magic 7 Pro Will Have a Pill-Shaped Display

The leaked images also suggest that the Honor Magic 7 Pro will sport a centered, pill-shaped cutout that houses both the selfie camera and an additional sensor. Interestingly, the cutout appears to be slightly more compact than the one found on the Honor Magic 6 Pro, suggesting a refined design that could contribute to a more fluid and less intrusive front display. This tweak could potentially improve the overall user experience by offering more screen real estate.

Gizchina News of the Week

The Honor Magic 7 Pro retains the flat frame and rounded corners of the older models, but rumors point to major improvements. The display is likely to remain at 1.5K resolution, but it is expected to offer better visuals. The phone could also use a high-density silicon-carbon battery, which should improve efficiency.

For the camera, reports suggest that Honor is testing the Magic 7 Pro with a 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor. It also has a Sony IMX882 for telephoto shots. This points to better photo quality, especially for zooming in. Another exciting feature is the possible launch of a new AI Agent, which could make this an AI-powered flagship device.

As the leaks are rolling out, the official launch seems imminent. It is also believed that the phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Since Qualcomm is planning to launch this chip in October, Honor may announce the Magic 7 series around that time.

October is going to be a busy month for smartphone enthusiasts. We are likely to see the launch of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400. The new flagship SoCs from Qualcomm and MediaTek respectively will usher in a new wave of flagships. We expect the momentum to pick up with the launch of the Honor Magic 7 Pro in November.

In related news, it was stated that Honor has introduced a number of new products to the global market, including its foldable phone, the Honor Magic V3.
