After months of speculation and rumors, including a fake Apple event invite, the iPhone 16 launch is almost here. But when Apple revealed the name of its upcoming event – Glowtime – the rumor mill went churning again. Now we have more information from someone who is likely up to something: Bloomberg's Apple insider Mark Gurman. So, based on what we know, what will most likely be the focus of Glowtime? Apple Intelligence. Not only is it the latest thing Apple is working on, the Glowtime logo closely resembles the color scheme of Apple Intelligence's promotional materials. It also looks somewhat similar to the new AI interface Apple is working on.
In addition, AI is the only reason for many people to buy an iPhone 16, so it will likely be a big topic of conversation during the event. iPhone16 is only slightly better than the iPhone 15, no major performance leaps to be happy about here.
In fact, the EU is getting an almost entirely different phone, which is why I'm calling this the most fragmented iPhone launch in history. iPhone users in the EU are getting features that are completely foreign to other regions, but not Apple's intelligence.

These features will be missing from the EU for the time being. | Video credit — Apple
Whenever macOS Sequoia comes out, it will surely power the new M4 Mac mini. There aren't many details on this yet, but reports suggest the M4 Mac mini won't sacrifice function for form.
Sequoia isn't the only operating system update we can look forward to from Apple this year. iOS 18 will be available very soon, and that's when Apple Intelligence will be released to the general public.
However, it remains to be seen whether, given such differences in the EU, iPhone16 can be one of the best phones you can buy today.
