Galaxy S25 Ultra and SD 8 Gen 4 leaks, SD 7s Gen 3 goes official, week 34 review

Things have calmed down in terms of announcements this week and that has resulted in a slew of rumors to fill our news section.

Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S25 Ultra with a larger 6.86-inch display and thinner bezels that would measure 2.3mm compared to 3.35mm on the S24 Ultra. The upcoming Samsung flagship is expected to feature slightly rounded corners that should make it easier to handle.

New leaks have revealed the color options for the iPhone 16 Pro series. It seems that Apple has opted for white, black, gray, and gold, all of which will carry the Titanium prefix.

Leaked slides of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset shed more light on what we can expect. The flagship chip will be built on a 3nm node with an octa-core formation and Oryon CPU cores. The processor will be aided by an Adreno 8-series GPU with performance and efficiency improvements as well as a new NPU and a “Low-Power AI” (LPAI) subsystem.

Qualcomm makes Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 official

It benefits from 20% better CPU performance and a 40% faster GPU than the 7s Gen 2.


Qualcomm also made official its Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which is the successor to last year's 7s Gen 2. The new chip promises 20% better CPU performance, a 40% faster GPU, 30% better AI performance, and 12% better power savings compared to its predecessor. The new chip is expected to debut in a Xiaomi phone as early as next month.

We also got some samples showing off the new Zoom Enhance feature coming to Google's Pixel 9 series and the Pixel 8 Pro. Samsung has expanded the Circle to Search feature to include music recognition.
