Now, a recent leak suggests that another update is in the works, expected to launch next year under the obvious name Moto G Power 5G (2025). The leaked image showcases a redesigned rear panel that offers a new look compared to the current Moto G Power 5G (2024) model.
The Moto G Power 5G (2025) could come with an additional rear camera that could improve its photographic capabilities. A concept render shared by 91mobiles reveals a new Motorola device bearing the model number Vegas XT2515-1. This model number closely matches the Moto G Power 5G (2024) that is labeled as XT2415-1. The similarity in the numbers, especially the progression from '24' to '25', suggests that the Vegas XT2515-1 could indeed be the Moto G Power 5G (2025). It has led to speculations about its features and improvements.

Moto G Power 5G (2025) With Triple Camera Setup and Vegan Leather Cover
The leaked image reveals that the upcoming Moto G Power 5G (2025) could feature a triple-camera setup on the rear, which would mark a significant upgrade from the dual-camera setup seen on the 2024 model, which featured a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The camera module also features a refreshed design that echoes the aesthetics of Motorola's recent Edge series, like the Moto Edge 50 Pro.
There has been speculation that the rear panel could be made of vegan leather, but the image quality isn't clear enough to confirm this. However, considering that the budget Moto G45 5G already has a vegan leather rear, the possibility seems credible.
Despite these upgrades, the Moto G Power 5G (2025) appears to retain a flat display. It will feature a pronounced chin and a flat mid-frame, consistent with its predecessor. From the front and sides, the design changes very little and sticks closely to the aesthetics of the 2024 model.
As of now, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) is only available in North America. There’s no word on whether the 2025 model will see a wider global launch. Additionally, details about the upcoming device’s specifications are being kept under wraps.
