If you’re in the market for a new camper or motorhome, it can be overwhelming to start looking for the right machine. However, countless campers and full-time enthusiasts take the time to give us insider information on the latest models. This time, we’re exploring the 2025 Entegra Coach Odyssey.
If you're interested in the whole RV scene, chances are you've heard of Matt's RV Reviews. This time, Matt, the host of the show, takes us on an unedited look at the 2025 Entegra Coach Odyssey, specifically the 29V floorplan. Oh, and just so we're on the same page, this lineup is considered “Matt's.”favorite camper!” Says a lot for someone who has spent years living, selling and exploring RVs.
Why is it Matt's favorite? Well, let's start with some essentials. First off, there's the base vehicle used to bring this puppy to life; none other than Ford is the brand called upon here, and it supplies Entegra with an E-450 with a 7.3L V8 engine that makes 325 horsepower and a peak of 450 lb-ft of torque. That's enough to handle a GCWR of 22,000 pounds, including a trailer.
On this chassis, the Entegra adds a cab-over shell that’s packed with all the amenities a family of up to eight (with some options) needs to live comfortably and safely. If you bring a couple of sleeping bags, as you probably will, that number could easily be expanded.

Entegra currently offers seven different floor plans, some of which can accommodate fewer than eight people, but for the sake of clarity, we can simply follow the tour Matt has in store for us, as the 29V is one of the largest and most feature-rich models in the family.
Starting on the outside of this layout, Matt takes us on a tour of the exterior features, including an entertainment center, access to a generator, and all the storage options (he's not too happy about this aspect of the build) and also mentions the EZ Drive computer-balanced driveshaft, which makes this range one of the “the best C-Classes in the industry.” Be sure to check the awning and ladder to access the roof and any systems mounted up there.
From here, we move inside this camper and how these little gems fit your entire family and more with the use of a slide-out, sometimes two, and modular features; all layouts include slide-outs to maximize interior space. You’ll be able to see what it looks like after about the sixth or seventh minute of the video, but the interior tour begins with the slide-out in travel mode.
Yet even with the slide-out disabled, the Odyssey's interior is still roomy enough to be usable, with a walk-through that lets you reach the rear bedroom without ever having to go into full camping mode. I see tons of units flying across this screen, and not all Class Cs offer this, dare I say it, luxury.

Some notable spaces I loved were the cabin above the bunk and the fantastic galley setup, the latter completely filled with storage options, flush countertop, deep double sink and tall faucet, and the warm, healthy feeling I got from those LEDs built into the countertop. I also love those hidden power towers.
I won’t lie; I saved the overhead storage for last. Why? Well, Entegra designed a sleeping area that can easily accommodate up to two adults (the weight limit is set at 750 pounds), and while you and a loved one are here relaxing and getting ready for bed, you can fall asleep while giving the kids an astronomy lesson or simply enjoying the annual Perseids. Best of all, if you’re traveling without the kids for a trip or two, this area can be used for storage only.
One space that future owners will definitely love is the bathroom. As we can see in Matt’s presentation, the 29V includes a split bathroom, with the toilet and sink on one side and a walk-in shower on the other, which makes Matt look like a rather stocky guy; he is. However, even us taller folks can easily bathe in that space, even my dad; he’s a big and pleasantly chubby trucker.
Now, in traditional Matt's RV Reviews style, we are presented with three things that the guest liked and disliked about the unit. The number one thing I dislike is the design of the external latches, used to open and close the storage compartment, “curve,” Matt calls them, a no-no in his book. The second is the exposed water hookups. The third issue is the TV placement and the lack of one in the bedroom.

On the same side of the story, the first is “quality.”Matthew”loves” the hoods, the TuffShell laminated sides and the seamless one-piece fiberglass roof. The second “like” is none other than a feature that I also fell in love with: the kitchen, and we can all understand why.
Finally, Matt concludes by saying that slide-outs on campers, whether they are Class C, Class B, or even Class A, and even travel trailers, will always have problems. If this happens with an Odyssey 29V and you can't open the slide-out, you can still use “99%” of the features and space inside this camper. Let's hope it never gets that far, especially considering the unit in the video has an MSRP of around $175K, but retail prices hover around $120K.
