Eminem Shows Off the Wheel of the All-New Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack in a Photoshoot, and It Looks Like a Perfect Pairing. Two Detroit Legends Meet on the Cover of Complex Magazine.
Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, appears behind the wheel of the world’s first electric muscle car, the Dodge Charger Daytona. The hip-hop star has a longstanding relationship with Chrysler and Dodge, first showing his commitment to the brand in a Super Bowl commercial in 2011.
During the photoshoot, Eminem recreated scenes from his music video, “Houdini,” which has already been viewed by 133 million people on YouTube alone. The hit is included on his latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady.”
The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2 was loaned to the team by Dodge especially for the occasion. It seemed like the right car, in keeping with Eminem's rebellious reputation. Plus, both Dodge and Eminem are Detroit legends. The artist was born in Missouri but grew up just outside of Detroit, while the Motor City is home to Dodge and many other car brands.
The Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2 sounds every inch like a brutal piece of machinery, even if the ICE Die-hards might disagree. The muscle car is powered by a dual-motor system, each pumping out 335 horsepower and driving one axle, for a total of 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet (850 Newton-meters) of torque in an all-wheel-drive system, aided by a slip rear differential. The Stage 2 upgrade brings an additional 80 horsepower (81 metric horsepower).

These figures are enough to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, cover a quarter mile in 11.5 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 138 mph.
The Charger Daytona Scat Pack features a 100.5-kWh high-voltage nickel-cobalt-aluminum battery pack, which stores enough energy to power the electric muscle car up to 260 miles (418 kilometers) before needing to be plugged in again.
This version of the electric model is the best after the Challenger SRT Hellcat with a 717-horsepower HEMI engine (727 metric horsepower).
Dodge recently released pricing for the all-new 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona. The car that Eminem graces the cover of Complex magazine starts at $73,190. However, if potential buyers are considering picking up a frunk, they’ll need to purchase the full Group Plus package, which is a steal at $4,995. The First Edition is expected to hit dealerships in the third quarter of 2024, while the ICE versions will go into production in 2025.
This is the first time Complex has integrated a brand into its cover. The magazine first teased the Dodge and Eminem collaboration in late July, which left people wondering what it was all about.
