This 2019 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Pirelli Edition motorcycle has 993 miles on the odometer and is one of only 200 special edition units ever produced (#41 of 200). It recently sold for $13,750, which isn’t a huge price tag considering it was over $20,000 new.

MV Agusta is a brand that resonates deeply with the motorcycle community. It has a rich tradition and has always distinguished itself from other motorcycle manufacturers through a mix of art and exclusivity. They are often described as “motorcycle art”, because there is a clear emphasis on design.

They also do “exclusivity” quite well. MV Agusta often produces bikes in limited quantities, while also offering extensive customization options. Oh, and the fact that they position themselves as a luxury motorcycle manufacturer certainly helps their image, although I would only call them a luxury brand in the same sense that Jaguar is, i.e. more premium than luxury.

With that in mind, feast your eyes on this 2019 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR. It’s a limited-edition Pirelli Edition model, and once again, it just sold for just under $14k. Is that a lot of money? Yes and no, but mostly not. I mean, some Fisker Ocean EVs were selling for around $14,000, for goodness sake.

What else can you get for $14k? Maybe a nice Rolex Yacht Master or a Sea Dweller. However, this Pirelli Edition Dragster should be a worthwhile purchase.

So, let’s take a closer look at what makes this Pirelli Edition bike special. For starters, check out the redesigned seat with offset stitching. Beautiful work. This one also features a black finish with contrasting yellow frame and graphics, and it has 17” black spoked wheels with yellow accents and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires.

Meanwhile, adjustable suspension consists of a 43mm Marzocchi upside-down fork, while cornering is handled by a Bosch 9 Plus motor. abdominal muscles It also boasts the Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation (RLM) system.

Other highlights include the 5.5-inch TFT dashboard display with GPS and Bluetooth connectivity, wheelie control, cruise control and a plaque (under the instrument cluster) identifying this bike as number 41 of 200 units produced.

In terms of performance, the magic happens courtesy of a 798cc liquid-cooled DOHC triple with Mikuni fuel injection, a counter-rotating crankshaft, ride-by-wire throttle, and a triple-exit exhaust system. It makes 140 horsepower and 87 lb-ft of torque, with all of it sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission.

In a straight line, it’s as quick as a modern supercar (modern by 2015 standards). It’ll hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, before topping out at around 150 mph (240 km/h). It’s not the fastest thing on the road, but it’ll do the trick.
