For starters, the American luxury brand continues to provide sedans if customers want them. There are two series: the compact CT4 and the increasingly popular CT5, which is also a big reason why the 2025 CT5 has been refreshed while the CT4 has not. Even better, the 2025 model year for the CT5 still includes the CT5-V series and, more importantly, the Blackwing model.
Moving on to SUVs, the most recognizable modern Cadillac is the Escalade, a full-size body-on-frame luxury model. Off-road Not only will it soon be offered with an all-electric Escalade IQ variant, but it’s also received a mid-cycle refresh to sit alongside the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, as well as the recently introduced 2025 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. It’s a complete refresh inside and out, so it’s sure to be even more popular in the future, though it’s also significantly more expensive than its 2024MY counterpart.
The company is also keen to continue working in the all-electric field. So, after the Lyriq and Celestiq, the entry-level 2025 Optiq is also available. The 2025 Escalade IQ will soon join them from the top of the tower of its starting price of $ 128k. No problem, if you want a family-oriented Cadillac Electric vehicle With three rows, the 2026 Vistiq is just around the corner.
The company also didn’t abandon the Escalade V models, but instead gave them another model year extension. But what’s next? According to the buzz, Cadillac is hard at work developing two all-electric sedans based on General Motors’ improved Ultium+ platform. And what about the parallel universes of vehicular CGI? Well, those, along with the imaginative realm of digital automotive content creators, are mulling over what nameplates to use for those two new all-electric sedans.
No one knows for sure if they will be offered in America or if they are just for China, which is still a big fan of four-door models, but if they are coming to the States, then someone will have already thought of making a classic and valid use of them. Vince Burlapp (aka appburlap on social media) is a prolific virtual artist who loves to dream up all the latest models in the vast automotive world and has a passion for the big Detroit automakers, especially their luxury brands.
So it's no wonder he's come up with another design project for the Caddy. In fact, it's an entire model series, because the pixel maestro is imagining an unofficial and hypothetical revival of the Cadillac “de Ville” nameplate. Produced in eight generations, this model series originally arrived in 1959 and used both the DeVille and de Ville nicknames to denote various body styles.
On this occasion, the CGI expert decides that the latter is more suitable, for all three variants: sedan and four-door coupe, plus convertible. So, what do you think? Should we prepare for a surprise rebirth of one of Cadillac's most popular model series, such as the de Ville, or will General Motors kill the ICEV6-powered Caddy sedans and leave only the very expensive $340,000 Celestiq with nothing less in the American range?
