The new business super wagon is rumored to be one of the most aggressive cars in its class. With other similar cars from the VW Group boasting the firepower of an electrified twin-turbo V8, it stands to reason that this model will also have this recipe, and word on the street is that it should arrive with over 700 horsepower.
This power is realistic considering that one of its biggest rivals in the segment, the new BMW M5 Touring, has 717 hp (727 ps/535 kW) and 738 pound-feet (1,000 Nm) of available torque. The Bimmer combines an electric motor with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and takes three and a half seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) en route to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h), or 190 mph (306 km/h) with the M Driver's Pack on deck.

A high-performance version of the upcoming A7 family, the RS 7 Avant will feature a sporty facelift. Look for different front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a new front grille. It will also get an aggressive diffuser and chunky fenders to draw a sharper line between it and the lesser models. We also expect it to arrive with unique wheels and colors, as well as the usual chassis upgrades that should bring the body closer to the ground and upgraded brakes that will keep that aforementioned firepower in check.
There's a good chance it looks like the one Kolesa sketched. The rendering artist used the latest spy photos to create these digital illustrations, and if there's one thing we're not fans of, it's the front logo. We don't necessarily like the side vents in the front bumper, nor the fins on the apron, and for what it's worth, the diffuser could have looked much better and would have done just fine without the fins. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about, at least when it comes to visuals.
This rendered 2025 Audi RS 7 Avant has a red paint finish and multiple black trims. It rides on black-finished Y-spoke wheels that spin around red Audi Sport-branded brake calipers. Look for front bucket seats, unique trim and upholstery, and a few other upgrades over the regular next-gen A7 family. We don’t yet know when it’ll be released, but we’re betting it’ll arrive in a few months, presumably in the U.S. for the 2025 or 2026 model year.
