Apple is rumored to be working on a tabletop robot

Apple is reportedly looking to capture a larger share of the smart home device market and BloombergMark Gurman suggests we could see a tabletop robotic device from the brand as early as 2026. The device would feature an iPad-style screen attached to a robotic arm that can rotate 360 degrees.

Apple's desktop device could control smart home devices and be used to video conference while also serving as a home security monitor. It would feature integration with Siri and Apple Intelligence while running a custom version of iPadOS.

According to the new report, the project is being led by Kevin Lynch – the same executive in charge of the now-abandoned Apple car project codenamed Project Titan.

Apple's tabletop robot is expected to launch in 2026 or 2027 with a starting price of around $1,000. Again, this is just a rumor for now, so we advise you to take all this information with a grain of salt.
