Depending on your age, you may remember a time not so long ago when “AI” stood for what is now called “AGI.” In the meantime, the company’s name has been radically rethought, and we now live in a world where “AI” stands for large language models. But “AI” also stands for Apple Intelligence, as the Cupertino company couldn’t help but hijack the acronym for its own use.
And Apple Intelligence has been all the rage since its announcement in June. Sure, it's been delayed, and the first pieces of hardware aren't expected to arrive until October, a month after the original release. But the question on many analysts' minds seems to be how much it will cost, because it apparently can't stay free forever.
So they started speculating. Wildly. And apparently, a consensus was reached that pointed to $20 a month, or maybe less, as part of the Apple One service bundle.
This is not a leak, keep in mind. It's not even a rumor. The source linked below is just reporting what random Apple analysts think. could invoice for “IA”. That's all.
Of course, even if these speculations are pulled out of nowhere, no one would be the least bit surprised if Apple decided to offer $20 per month or even more. After all, Apple has its bottom line and reputation as a top-tier company to think about, and that doesn't mean it offers low prices for anything.
