It's always annoying when a device – especially a flagship – comes to market and is delayed. Samsung had to stop selling the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro due to alleged serious quality issues.
It took just over a week after the revelation on July 10, 2024, that complaints began pouring in, mainly from South Korea.
In short, most of the issues with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro seem to stem from their physical design and build quality rather than user experience or software issues, suggesting that Samsung may struggle to address the emerging PR concerns without redesigning and rebuilding these earbuds from the ground up.
According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro's issues included uneven gaps, deformation of the plastic shell, and different brightness levels of the left and right blade lights. Even the silicone ear tips seem “delicate” and can “break easily” when removed from the earbuds.
Those issues are now apparently over and sales of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have resumed. There are users on Reddit reporting that their high-end Galaxy earbuds have just arrived.
For those who pre-ordered the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro: If you haven’t received the earphones yet, it’s best to check the delivery status of the product.
Personally, I think the whole thing is a huge mistake on Samsung's part. If there are excuses for something like this to happen to a budget device, there is no justification for releasing faulty earbuds for $250.
