The rumor mill is working overtime to keep us updated on everything that will be different about the successor to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which sounds more like a successor to the Galaxy Note 20. The Note range, as you may already know, was discontinued in 2020, and we have good news for those who aren't quite over it. Samsung tried to make up for the end of the Note series by bringing its most iconic feature, S Pen support, to its top-of-the-range S series phones. The current model, which Galaxy S24 Ultrais one of the best phones you can buy today, and its successor could be a significant improvement.
First of all, the phone will protect the sharp corners of the Galaxy S24 Ultra to prevent the edges of the phone from sinking into your palms. Instead, the phone will have slightly rounded corners, according to leaker Ice Universe.
In his latest social media posts, the informant also revealed that the phone will have a better “horizontal screen-to-body ratio” than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The leaker had previously said that there would be some changes to the sides of the phone, resulting in a mid-frame that would be neither completely straight nor noticeably curved. Instead, the part near the back is said to be rounded, while the part closer to the screen is said to be straight. The side rail is also rumored to be thinner. The slimmer, asymmetrical frame is said to improve the in-hand feel of the device.
Ice Universe has now provided more information on the subject, stating that the phone will have a narrower body and a wider screen than the Galaxy S24 UltraAs the frame gets straighter towards the screen, it basically creates the illusion of a more compact phone with a wider display, even though the dimensions don't change drastically.
According to previous leaks, the phone will feature a faster chip, new ultra-wide and telephoto cameras, and more RAM. Apparently, it will also get a new name to go along with these changes.

Leaker Yogesh Brar, who has a respectable track record, claims that the Galaxy S24 UltraThe successor will be called Note. He did not confirm whether it would be called Galaxy S25 Note or simply Galaxy Note 25, but hinted at the former.
Reports suggest that Samsung will also rename the Plus model and give it the Pro label. We suspect this is being done to position it as a competitor to the Pixel 9 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro. Hopefully, Samsung will equip it with specs worthy of the new name.
