A dream tiny house hides a two-bedroom layout with an elegant raised living room

Don't let the dark and somber appearance of the Mobi Individual Bamboo fool you: this tiny house reveals an incredibly light and soft interior, with generous living spaces and timeless furnishings. Whether it's a cozy family home or a sophisticated vacation abode, the Bamboo Tiny turns Scandinavian-inspired minimalism into an art form.

Bamboo Tiny is based on one of the largest platforms available from Mobi House, Individual, which boasts a generous length of 7.8 metres (25.5 feet). Thanks to this, Bamboo is able to take the classic double loft configuration to the next level, amplifying the spaciousness and creating an overall much more comfortable environment.

Instead of the basic ladders that many people fear, a sophisticated split ladder provides seamless access to both loft areas. This ladder alone is enough to transform the Bamboo from a basic mobile home to a luxurious abode that feels more like a traditional home. Having a split ladder also means double the storage capacity, with spacious built-in closets on each side. Finally, wall-mounted handrails for each section make it easy to access smoothly without blocking the view, which helps maintain a sense of openness and unobstructed flow from one end of the home to the other.

Split staircases are often associated with what is known as a “reverse loft” layout. One of the rooms in the loft is converted into a raised living room instead of a bedroom, while the area below is closed off, turning it into a traditional-style bedroom at ground level. In simple terms, the bedroom and living room are reversed. This configuration is perfect for those who prefer a traditional bedroom without sacrificing the benefits of a double loft layout.

As a result, the Bamboo Tiny boasts two spacious bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs, as well as a strikingly elegant living room in the loft area. A floor-to-ceiling white wall adds privacy to this unusual living room, making it even more inviting than typical open-concept versions. At the same time, the perforated design ensures that the view is not completely blocked. This creates a fine balance between openness and privacy.

When it comes to tiny homes, the living room is often just a small nook or open space with basic furniture. Thanks to its unique layout, Bamboo sports a truly elegant living room. In addition to the clever semi-open security wall, it features a large window and enough space for a classic setup. The built-in sofa/bench is a Mobi classic designed for maximum versatility; it is both an ingenious storage solution with large built-in drawers and a comfortable bed. A large wall-mounted TV and a classic coffee table complete the cozy living room setup.

The second loft is a direct mirror image of the first: it boasts the same type of security wall and the same type of window, with an additional smaller window on the side wall. The floor is carpeted for comfort and there is no extra furniture, which frees up plenty of space for a sumptuous bed for two.

Beneath the raised lounge, the Bamboo hides its second spacious person. It is literally hidden behind a sliding wooden door, which makes it particularly cozy and intimate. Two large windows have been strategically added to create enough light and prevent it from becoming too dark and isolated.

That second bedroom is also big enough for two; add the sofa bed in the living room and you’ll find that the Bamboo can easily sleep at least five, and that’s not just a basic setup. This stylish Tiny is all about recreating the comfort and security of a traditional version with the added benefit of mobility.

Mobi models showcase some of the most balanced configurations in the industry. The Scandinavian inspiration behind the brand is clearly evident in the rigorous simplicity and symmetry of its layouts, as well as in the ultra-clean aesthetic based on light natural wood and abundant white.

Just as the two lofts are perfectly mirrored, even though one is a bedroom and the other a living room, the spaces below are also designed symmetrically: one is a closed bedroom, while the one in front is the bathroom.

Despite having a split staircase that typically takes up a large portion of space, the Bamboo still boasts a large, well-equipped kitchen. The all-white decor adds a touch of dreaminess and creates the illusion of a larger space. An induction hob, oven, and electric refrigerator are seamlessly incorporated, along with a hidden dishwasher and range hood. Classic cabinetry keeps things neat, while additional LED lighting also serves as a sleek, contemporary accent.

The modular folding table and folding chairs stored above the kitchen area are part of the classic Mobi recipe for greater functionality. These clever modular pieces can magically transform into a comfortable dining station and then be just as easily stored away to free up space for other activities.

As an added bonus, the Bamboo Tiny boasts a beautiful deck that serves as an extension of its main living areas without compromising the home’s mobility. Additionally, the dark siding with white accents creates a visually striking contrast to the bright, dreamy all-white interior. The Bamboo Tiny is a show-stopper on the outside and a stylish, spacious oasis on the inside.
