2025 Cadillac Lyriq to Get Cheaper Next Year, Here's the Pricing

The 2025 Cadillac Lyriq is more affordable than the outgoing model, despite all the updates it brings. The automaker is dropping the base trim, Tech. Now, the lineup starts with the Luxury trim.

The Lyriq EV enters its third model year with several updates, including a 33-inch curved display. Cadillac has decided to drop the Tech trim, which now starts at $58,590. The base model Electric vehicle is powered by a single motor in a rear-wheel drive configuration, generating 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The GM Ultium 102-kWh The battery pack stores enough energy to travel up to 314 miles before the car needs to be plugged in again.

Currently, the top end of the lineup is the Luxury trim, which starts at $62,690. Next year, the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury will become the base trim, priced $2,700 less than the current model. Customers will have to pay $59,990, which includes $1,395 in shipping to the destination.

This example features Super Cruise driver-assist technology, a panoramic power sunroof, and the Nappa leather package. The driver and passenger have ventilated seats with lumbar massage, while those in the rear outboard seats have heated seats. This version can also be ordered with all-wheel drive for $63,490.

The Cadillac Lyric Sport starts at $63,190 for 2024, but the automaker has lowered the price to $61,090 for 2025, as reported by GMAuthority. The model gets dark Obsidian Chrome trim, body-color door handles, and the Sport-exclusive illuminated front grille. Next year, this trim will start at $61,090.

Each grade includes three variants. In 2024, the most expensive of all is the Cadillac Lyriq Sport 3 with all-wheel drive, which starts at $74,590. Next year, the same version will top the range, but it will be cheaper. Customers will have to pay $72,390 to get the Lyriq Sport 3 All-wheel drive house.

Like all rear-wheel drive versions, the top-of-the-line Lyriq has 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) in 5.1 seconds and cover the quarter mile in 13.4 seconds. Top speed is estimated at 125 mph (201 km/h).
